Holsteinische Schweiz station

The Holstein Switzerland train station at Kellersee on the railway line Malente- Gremsmuehlen - Luetjenburg in Schleswig -Holstein was opened on 25 May 1890. The entire railway line was built at the behest of the businessman John Janus. This business hotel Holstein Switzerland, after whom the station got its name.

Track 1 had a platform roofing, which was dismantled in 1896 back to them at Ploen Prince station ( right: Plon - Park Station ) rebuild. Since 1910, this canopy is at Plön station.

The regular passenger and freight services on the route Malente- Gremsmuehlen - Luetjenburg and thus also on the Holstein Switzerland station was terminated in 2000.
