Hombach

The Hombach part of the river system in the Weser. It has a length of 23.4 km and rises north-east of Bassum.

It flows only in Diepholz (Lower Saxony ) through the towns Bassum - Nordwohlde, Stuhr- Fahrenhorst and Weyhe - Leeste. This flows from the right Gänsebach added. From here it flows as Leester mill creek, until it flows north-east of Brinkum, south of Bremen- Obervieland in the Ochtum.

Right-hand tributaries of the Finke river ( about 10 km long tributary south of Nordwohlde ) and the Gänsebach (7 km long tributary in Leeste ).

There is now no more water mill on his way. From 1393 to 1960 there was a water mill in Leeste, at the Leester road.
