Hombleux
Hombleux is a commune with 1090 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region of northern France. It is the second largest municipality in the Canton of Nesle.
Geography
The municipality is situated on the D930 road department of the Nesle located 8 km west to Ham, south of the Canal de la Somme, east of the Canal du Nord. To Hombleux part of the district Bacquencourt which extends up to the Petit Unitingon, but the Canal du Nord is not reached, and the bridge to Breuil connects.
History
During the First World War, the church was badly damaged. She received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
