Home (Michael Bublé song)

2005

Home is a song by Canadian singer Michael Bublé, which was written by Bublé himself along with Amy Foster - Gillies and Alan Chang his pianist. The single " Home " was released along with the "Song For You" B-side in 2005. "Home" can be found on Bublé's second album It's Time, and has since been several times gecovert, among other things, of the boy band Westlife.

Michael Bublé

Michael Bublé interpreted his first original composition for the first time on the album It's Time; the song was released as a single home. The album " It's Time" also reached thanks to the success of the single number 2 in the German album charts. The single itself peaked at number # 33 in the UK, in the Adult Contemporary charts and # 1 in the German single charts 55

Arrangement and Instrumentation

Both the rhythm and the string arrangement comes from David Foster, who produced the version along with Humberto Gatica, and William Ross ( also known as Bill Ross ). Foster plays the piano itself. A greater role is performed in the album version, the guitarist Brian Green ( electric jazz guitar) and Dean Parks ( acoustic guitar). In contrast to the Westlife version Bublé's version leaves a more " acoustic impression ", which is enhanced by the acoustic guitar, the percussion by Rafael Padilla and the double bass (Brian Bromberg ). The Drums ( Vinnie Colaiuta ) highlights some of the "International Pop Mix". In this remix removes the acoustic guitar and the intro is only played by the piano. Michael Bublé's then girlfriend Debbie Timuss contributed background vocals in the chorus.

In the live version of Caught In The Act, which was included in the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, falls off the acoustic guitar, Randy Napoleon predominantly playing the part Brian greens from the album version and the solo.
