The Honda NRX 1800 Valkyrie Rune is a motorcycle by the Japanese manufacturer Honda. The model code is SC48.

Description

2002 gave American Honda four designers commissioned to design a new bike with the GL -1800 engine, the Honda Goldwing. It created four prototypes that were presented in March 2003 at the Harley -Davidson meeting in Daytona Beach the audience.

A technical feature is the front fork with a drawn Kurzarmschwinge. The Goldwing engine was revised and received other camshafts, improved fuel injection and an optimized ignition system. The valve clearance must, unlike the Goldwing, be restored by hand.

The Valkyrie Rune was launched in the spring of 2003 for the U.S. market in an edition of 1500 pieces limited edition and produced in the factory of Honda Motorcycle in Marysville, Ohio. There were only a few machines on the European market.
