Honey x Honey Drops
Honey x Honey Drops (Japanese蜜×蜜 ドロップス, Mitsu x Mitsu Drops ) is a manga series created by Kanan Minami. The manga has been translated into several languages and adapted into an original video animation.
Content
On the Hojo Academy (蜂 城 学院, Hōjō Gakuin ), there is in addition to the normal classes nor the " Kugeka " (九华 科), which is attended only by wealthy students. Each of the Kugeka students ("master" ) is looking away from the other students a "Honey ", which makes him his school days easier. For the Honey will pay the school fee.
As Yuzuru Hagino (萩 乃 柚 留) comes to the Hojo Academy, she meets Kai Renge (炼 夏 可 威). This makes it soon after his Honey, against their will. But they can not do anything, otherwise they would have to leave school. So she has to endure his part condescending behavior and is also soon to be of Chihaya Yurioka (百合 丘 千 骏) annoyed. Finally Kai helps her and soon she falls in love with him.
Publication
The manga was published from 2004 to 2006 Japanese Mangazin Shojo Comic of the publisher Shogakukan. The chapters later appeared in eight anthologies. A French version was published by Akiko, a Spanish by Editorial Ivrea, a Chinese by Ever Glory Publishing. From October 2007 to December 2008 all eight volumes published in German at Tokyopop. From April 2012 to January 2013 a German edition appeared in four double volumes.
Anime
2006 produced the studio Radix a two-part OVA to manga. Directed by Mitsuhiro Tōgō, the character design designed Koji Murai and the artistic director took over Yutaka Mukumoto. The music was composed by Shoichi Kasuya. Misaki Fuji sang the opening credits title Rock'n Sweets (ロックン ☆ スウィーツ, Rokkun Suwītsu ), and credits title French Kiss (フレンチ ☆ キス, Furenchi Kisu ).
The two parts of the OVA with each 27 minutes in length appeared on 28 April 2006 in Japan on DVD.
Computer game
On 6 April 2006 was released for the PlayStation 2, the Ren'ai Adventure Mitsu Mitsu Drops ×: Love x Love Honey Life (蜜×蜜 ドロップスLOVE × LOVE HONEY LIFE). The game was developed by Idea Factory and sold under her maiden games label Otomate. Protagonist here is Kurumi Shiratsume (白詰 くるみ), the two master named Satsuki rindo (竜 胆 皋 月; spoken by Ken Narita ); owns and Iori Yukiyanagi (voiced by Hiro Shimono雪柳 伊 织).
