Hoogeveen Airport
Hoogeveen airfield ( Dutch: Hoogeveen Airfield ) is a small airfield on the outskirts of the Dutch town of Hoogeveen. The airport is mainly used for recreational purposes, for hang gliding, skydiving, scenic flights and business flights.

The Hoogeveener airfield has the following start and runway:
- Railway 10-28: This grass runway is 1200 meters long, making it the longest grass runway in the Netherlands.

The persistence of the airport hung in 2002 and 2003 by a thread. The long-term lease will expire in 2013 and from the city council has extensively discussed whether the airport after 2013 should continue to exist. Proponents noted that the airport is one of the few grass slopes in the area and that the airport would have a positive impact on tourism. The group of airport opponents consisted mainly of residents of houses near the airport, which had complained about the noise. A move to the airport was at the beginning a serious idea, but it quickly became apparent that this was not possible. After momentary state of the airport is likely to remain even after 2013, namely at its present location.
