Hooke (lunar crater)

Hooke is an impact crater on the moon northeastern front, northwest of the great crater Messala and southeast of approximately equal size Shuckburgh. The interior of the crater wall is flat, eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British physicist Robert Hooke.
