Inspector Hooperman (English Hooperman ) is an American television series starring John Ritter, which was produced from 1987 to 1989 on ABC. In the full 42 episode series Knight played the plainclothes policemen Harry Hooperman.
Action
After the popular older owner of a residential building is murdered in San Francisco by a burglar, Hooperman inherits the run-down house, with the condition of their police - hating Jack Russel dog lady Bijoux accept. He has little time to take care of the house through his work as a police officer and it often comes into confrontation with the tenants and his housekeeper Susan Smith, with the developed a romance throughout the series. One of the secondary characters is the gay cop Rick Silardi.
