Horehronie

Horehronie ( German as " Horehronie " ) is a region in Slovakia.

It extends over the territories of Banská Bystrica and Brezno Okresy and begins in the west at about the junction of the road to Ľubietová from the main road in the valley of Hron and ending in the east at the village Telgárt.

The region is due to the diversity of karst landscape ( Spišsko - Gemerský kras ) and the cultural wealth of one of the most picturesque Slovakia.
