Horst Bertl

Horst Bertl ( born March 24, 1947) is a former German football player. He played as a striker.

Life

Bertl started his Bundesliga career with Hannover 96 in 1972, he moved to Borussia Dortmund in the Regionalliga West. In 1974 he moved back to the Bundesliga for Hamburger SV, with whom he celebrated his greatest successes: with the HSV he won the 1976 DFB Cup, the 1977 European Cup Winners' Cup and the 1979 German Cup. In the season 1979/80 he made his career at Houston Hurricane in the North American Soccer League finish.
