Hostivice

Hostivice ( German Hostiwitz ) is a town west of Prague in the Czech Republic. The area of the town is 14.60 km ².

The city is located on the highway Rychlostní silnice 6 / Europe 48 road to Karlovy Vary and directly adjacent to the Prague airport.

History

The first documentary mention of the place comes from the year 1277th The city charter was established in 1978.

Among the attractions of the city, the baroque castle is from 1689 bis 1697th It was extensively restored in 1983 to 1977.

The town includes the villages Hostivice Litovice ( Littowitz ) and BRVE (bridge).
