Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo

The Hôtel de Paris is a traditional luxury hotel in Monaco. It is located in the Monte Carlo neighborhood, close to the Casino Monte Carlo and belongs to the Société des Bains de Mer et du Cercle des Étrangers à Monaco ( SBM). The Hôtel de Paris is one of the Leading Hotels of the World.

History

After the existing already since 1854 Casino Monte Carlo had little success, took over in 1863 François Blanc, the concession. Blanc realized that the low success of the casino is mainly due to the poor transport links and lack of hotels. He has founded the Société des bains de mer de Monaco ( SBM), and drove the construction of hotels ahead. First house on the square, the Hôtel de Paris in 1863 opened.

Equipment

The hotel has 182 rooms, 74 suites and one presidential suite. Two of the three restaurants have been awarded two Michelin stars: Le Louis XV -Alain Ducasse and Le Grill. In addition there is a large hall, a bar, a wine cellar and eight meeting rooms and various luxury boutiques on site.
