House for an Art Lover

The House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, is one in the 1990s, built according to plans by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife Margaret MacDonald Mackintosh building.

The couple drew up the plans in 1901 for the competition " House for an Art Friend" the German magazine interior decoration. Although not award-winning, design attracted great interest. 1989-1996 took the most accurate, late realization by John Kane, Graeme Robertson and Andrew MacMillan. The house is now used for cultural and social events. (Concerts, courses, weddings, etc.)
