House in the Clouds

The House in the Clouds (English: " House in the Clouds " ) is a former water tower at Thorpeness in Suffolk in the UK. Since the area is a popular holiday region, they wanted to make any ordinary water tower in the landscape. The peak of the 1923 finished structure was therefore converted into a family home. The fear that it would can be found because of the constant flow noise no tenants, turned out to be wrong. In 1977 the water tower was decommissioned and converted the tank to additional living space. Today the house is rented in the clouds as a holiday home.
