House of Assembly of Dominica

The House of Assembly ( German: meeting house ) is the lower house in the bicameral legislature of Dominica.

It consists of 21 members, who are elected for five years. The last elections were held on 18 December 2009. Choice is open to all persons over age 18.

On 18 December 2009 was last elected with the following result: Dominica Labour Party (DLP ) 18 ( vs. 12 in 2005), United Workers Party ( UWP ) 3 ( 8), Independent 0 (1), Dominica Freedom Party ( DFP) 0 (0).
