The city of Houston ( with the municipality status "City" ) is next to Okolona one of two administrative seats of Chickasaw County in the northern part of the U.S. state of Mississippi. In 2010, Houston had 3623 inhabitants.

The city is named after a native of Virginia governor of Tennessee and Texas, Sam Houston, named.

Geography
