Howard D. White

Howard D. White ( born June 15, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah) is an American library and information scientists.

White was in 1974 at the University of California, Berkeley to the Ph.D. doctorate. Later he was a professor at Drexel University.

White coined the term Bibliogramm ( Howard D. White: On Extending Informetrics. Opinion paper on In: .. . Proceedings of the 10th International Congress of the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics Stockholm, 2005, pp. 442-449 ).

He was awarded the Derek de Solla Price Award John magazine Scientometrics 2005.
