Hrant Markarian

Hrant Markarian or Markarian (Armenian Հրանտ Մարգարյան; * 1958 in Dscholfa ( Esfahan ), Iran) is an Armenian politician and currently leader of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation as Chairman of its top executive body, the Presidium.

Markarian was born in Iran. He has a degree in Armenology at the University of Isfahan. In 1990 Markarian and his family moved to Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh was involved in the conflict, and the organization of the ARF in Armenia.
