Huangpi District

The municipality Huangpi (Chinese黄陂 区/黄陂 区, pinyin Huangpi Qū ) is a municipality of the province of Wuhan City, the capital of Hubei province, People's Republic of China. It has an area of 2261 km ² and has 1,117,177 inhabitants ( end of 2004). It lies on the north bank of the Yangtze River.
