Hucknall Town is an English football club based in Hucknall, who plays in the 2010/11 season in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

History

The club was founded in 1945 as " Hucknall Colliery Welfare ." In the 1980s they played in the " Central Midlands Football League", which corresponds to the eleventh or twelfth league level today. After winning the 1991/92 the League and the League Cup, the club was promoted to the " Northern Counties East Football League". After many ups and downs a few succeeded in 1999, the jump in the Northern Premier League, where you remained until 2004 and then was allowed to ascend as a master in the Conference North. For the 2007/08 season but one rose again from the Conference North and play since then in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

2005, the club reached the final of the FA Trophy, but they lost narrowly to Grays Athletic.
