Campagnaro 2009

Hugo Armando Campagnaro (* June 27, 1980 in Córdoba ) is an Argentine football player who is under contract with the Italian club Inter Milan since the summer of 2013.

Club career

Campagnaro learned to play football in youth Deportivo Morón in Argentina as a defender. In 2002, it bought Piacenza Calcio. He made his debut for the Emilianer on 22 September 2002 in the Serie A match against Udinese Calcio. On 27 April 2003, he scored his first Serie A goal for Piacenza. After relegation to Serie B Campagnaro remained the club for four years faithfully until 2007, he moved to Sampdoria and for a limited four-year contract signed with the Genoese club.

On August 16, 2007 the second round of the UEFA Cup group stage, he scored against Hajduk Split his first goal for the Blucerchiati. After a short time he became a favorite of fans of Sampdoria player. After a good start to the season, the Argentinean injured on 27 January 2008 at the league match against Atalanta at the right calf muscles and fell for several months through injury. In a friendly match against FC Chiasso early July 2008, he injured his back in the right calf and fell for two months. It was only on 27 November 2008, in the group stage of the UEFA Cup against VfB Stuttgart, Campagnaro could play for Sampdoria again. However, in early January 2009, he was injured again on the right calf and paused again a few weeks.

In early July 2009 Campagnaro moved to Sampdoria League rivals Napoli, where he signed a contract until 2013. He made his debut for the Southern Italians on 16 August 2009 at the cup match against Salernitana Calcio, the game ended with a 3-0 victory for the Partenopei. March 21, 2010 the Defense succeeded in the away match against AC Milan, his first scoring for Naples, the game ended in a 1-1 draw. With the southerners the Argentine won the Coppa Italia in 2012, where he was in the final against Juventus over the full 90 minutes on the court. He was also with Naples in the season 2012/13 Italian runners-up.

After the expiry of his contract with the southerners Campagnaro changed in the summer of 2013 free transfer to Inter Milan, where he signed in 2015.

National

On February 29, 2012, he celebrated his national team debut for Argentina, where he was in the starting and playing 90 minutes. Argentina won the game 3-1 with a hat-trick by Lionel Messi.
