Hugo Grau

Life

Gray was a student of Hermann tree at the Veterinary Institute of Anatomy, University of Leipzig. 1935 to 1938 he taught in the order of the Persian Government as Professor of Veterinary Anatomy in Karaj near Tehran and helped set up the local veterinary education. 1953 to 1964 he was professor of anatomy, histology and development at the University of Munich. Gray organized the reconstruction of the animal anatomy in Munich and the separation into two chairs. He was co-founder of the World Association of Veterinary Anatomists and the European Association of Veterinary Anatomists.
