Hugo Parisi

Parisi began at the age of seven years with the water jump. He celebrated his first sporting success in 2002 by winning the silver medal from the tower at the Junior World Championship in Aachen. Two years later he was able to surprisingly qualify for the Olympic Games in Athens, finished there however, only rank 32 in the preliminaries. The following year, Parisi took in Montreal for the first time at the World Cup. In single from the tower, he reached the semi-finals and won 18th place in the 10 -meter synchronized diving, he retired with Cassius Duran from the preliminaries. Parisi started at the Pan American Games in 2007 in Rio de Janeiro, where he was fifth in the individual and synchronized diving with Duran fourth. At the World Championships in Melbourne, however, he dropped out in both disciplines in the preliminaries. In 2008 Parisi took part in Beijing to his second Olympics, he missed from the tower as 19 but just the semi-finals. Parisi reached at the 2009 World Championships in Rome in 2011 and in Shanghai in the individual jumping from the tower each of the semi-finals and was eliminated in the synchronized diving with his new partner Rui Marinho sync both times after the preliminaries of. At the Pan American Games in Guadalajara Parisi was also sixth in both tower competitions.
