Humberto Ramos

Humberto Ramos ( born November 27, 1970) is a Mexican comic book artist.

Life and work

Ramos learned the signs and crafts in the early 1990s as a student of Oscar González Guerrero and his son Oscar González Loyo. Subsequently, he joined variously as a guest on U.S. comic book conventions. At the San Diego Comic -Con of 1993, he was eventually hired to mediation by Walt Simonson from the publisher Milestone Media, for which he presented his first work for the U.S. market from 1994.

1995 Ramos was from DC Comics as an illustrator of the hilarious, written by star author Mark Waid, adventure series pulses ( # 1-25), a spin -off of the long-lived superhero series Flash.

Together with Joe Madureira and J. Scott Campbell called Ramos, 1998 the Cliffhanger imprint of Image publisher to life over the three and other artists published their own projects that they would not run in the major American publishing program to the rights to this even to reserved. Ramos has published over the Cliffhanger imprint almost two years - 1999 to 2001 - the self conceived and designed by him Crimson series, which brought it to 24 issues, plus two One Shots.

It was followed by the series Out There, which reached eighteen editions (2001-2003), as well as working on various series over the superhero Spider -Man: With the # 30 he took over the job of the cover illustrator for Peter Parker: Spider-Man and from # 44 (2002) also the job of the responsible for the design of the booklet inside the subscriber ( # 44-47 ). Afterwards he worked at the newly-created series The Spectacular Spider -Man ( # 1-10, 17-18), a commitment for 2005, he was nominated for the Harvey Award for Best Cover artist. In Dark Horse also published in 2005, created by the Ramos, six-part miniseries Revelations

In 2006, Ramos drawings for Marvel Comics superhero Wolverine Classic (# 42-48 ) for whom he illustrated, written by Marc Guggenheim stories. Ramos put for the French publisher Solei Productions, however, a series of drawings for each 46- page comic albums under the title of K shows that were written by the French author Crisse.
