Hunter Tylo

Hunter Tylo ( born July 3, 1962 in Fort Worth, Texas as Deborah Jo Hunter) is an American actress and author. Tylo became famous in the 1970s and 1980s as a model and in the 1990s for her role as Dr. Taylor Hayes Forrester on the television series Bold and the Beautiful.

Life and career

Tylos acting career began in 1985 when she three years in the series All My Children played the role of Robin McCall. On set, she met her future husband Michael Tylo know. In 1988, she joined Days of Our Lives and 1990 eventually Bold and the Beautiful. In the spring of 1996, Tylo decided to leave the series and to join Melrose Place. She realized at the time that she was pregnant, whereupon she was dismissed by Spelling Productions. They got back at Bold and the Beautiful, but sued Aaron Spelling in 1997 for discrimination. From a jury you were indeed awarded 4.89 million U.S. dollars in compensation, but the role of Taylor McBride in Melrose Place went to the newcomer Lisa Rinna. After disagreements with the Bold and the Beautiful producer Bradley Bell was released from her contract Tylo in 2002, and the figure of Dr. Taylor Hayes Forrester died the same year. In 2005, she and the producers agreed to raise the role of Dr. Taylor Hayes Forrester back to life.

Tylo was married to her fellow actor Michael Tylo since 7 July 1987. The couple has three children: Michael Jr. (1988-2007), Izabella Gabrielle (* 1996) and Katya Ariel (* 1998). From Tylos first marriage to Tom Morehart also comes a son named Christopher (* 1980). The marriage to Michael Tylo was divorced in late 2005. When her four -month-old daughter Katya was diagnosed with retinoblastoma in 1998, a rare form of eye cancer, Tylo wrote her autobiography Making A Miracle. After the right eye had to be removed by Katya, she underwent chemotherapy. Short term also developed a tumor in the left eye, which fortunately disappeared. On 18 October 2007 their son Michael Jr. drowned at the age of 19 years in the pool of the family home in Henderson, Nevada. Michael Jr. suffered from epilepsy, and it is believed that he fell and drowned during a seizure in the pool.
