The Hyde Glacier is a small glacier, which flows in an easterly direction through the Edson Hills in the West Antarctic Heritage Range, where it flows into the Union Glacier.

The glacier was mapped by the United States Geological Survey as part of the compilation of Ellsworthgebirges in the years 1961-66 by site surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy. He was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names after William H. Hyde, an ionospheric researchers who worked on the American research station Little America V in 1958.
