Hypopigmentation

As a depigmentation or hypopigmentation refers to a symptom which is characterized by a reduced number of melanocytes or reduced form of the pigment melanin. Hypopigmentation can be congenital or acquired. They mainly relate to skin, hair and iris. In dermatology, they belong to the secondary efflorescences. You can uniform ( diffuse) distributed or occur at circumscribed spots ( circumscribed ).
