I'm Your Baby Tonight is the third studio album by Whitney Houston. It was released in November 1990, was a worldwide commercial success and achieved platinum status in eleven countries.

History

As on the previous album Houston Narada Michael Walden and worked with Michael Masser together as producers. In addition, she reached with this album back to the services of the production team LA Reid and Babyface. Also, singer Luther Vandross was involved in the production. A collaboration with Stevie Wonder is also included on the album. The song material was not written by Houston itself, yet they had with this album after the previous successes more say. With All the Man That I Need, which is about the love of another is enough to be happy and Miracle two ballads were included on the album.

Reception and Awards

On the website Allmusic.com Ashley S. Battel described the album as " a little disappointing " publication " of being remembered very little pieces ." The two ballads were the highlights. You missed two out of five stars.

For the album Houston received several music awards and nominations, so about four Billboard Music Awards. Similarly, the singles of the album were awarded or nominated. I'm Your Baby Tonight and All the Man That I Need were nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female category in 1991 and 1992, I Belong to You in 1993 for Best R & B Vocal Performance, Female category.
