I Heart Sharks

I Heart Sharks are a German - British band from Berlin.

History

The band members are from New York City, London and Bavaria, met in their common chosen home Berlin and founded there in 2007, the band I Heart Sharks. The first EP Wolves appeared in July 2010 the label laser laser in sales of Rough Trade. In the same year, the band performed at the Festival Immergut. Published in 2011 I Heart Sharks first the single Modernity on AdP Records. On October 28, then followed the album Summer, which was recorded by the band on their own and partly funded by fans.

Style

I Heart Sharks make electronic music, which is known as electropop, or Indietronic and is suitable for dancing. The lyrics are mostly held in English, only in modern times, the song is also sung in German with a strong accent. The style of I Heart Sharks is often compared with that of the band Friendly Fires.
