I. Czech Lawn Tennis Club

History

1893, the club was founded as as I. Český lawn - Tenisový club, making it the oldest in the Czech Republic. In the 1950s, it has been incorporated into the TJ Motorlet Prague. From 1970, he was named ČLTK Dopravní podnik Praha and was placed under the Trägerschäft Prague transport company. In the 1990s, the club took its old name back to I. ČLTK Prague.

The tennis facility ČLTK Štvanice Prague (also known as Tenisový areál Štvanice ) consists of 14 outdoor clay courts and 10 indoor courts, seven hard courts and three clay courts that are lit with Flutlichtanlangen. The center court has a capacity of 8000 seats.

It was the venue of the ATP Tournament Prague Open and the WTA Tournament ECM Prague Open.
