Iah (queen)

Yeah, even Jah or Iah, was the wife of Antef III. , An ancient Egyptian king of the 11th dynasty, and the mother of his successor Mentuhotep II

Notes

There is very little known of her. In a graffito in the Wadi Shatt el- Rigal it is called the king's mother. There she is depicted behind King Mentuhotep II, from which it concluded that he was her son.

In the grave of Neferu ( TT319 ), this refers to the oldest physical princess and king consort, born of Yeah. Thus Yeah had two children: Neferu and Mentuhotep II From these two inscriptions mentions one concludes that Mentuhotep II was married to his sister Neferu.

Yeah probably was buried in a common grave in the grave conditioning Antef III. , The Saff el- Baqar in at- tariff, a Teilnekropole the Theban west bank.
