Iaia

Iaia from Cyzicus, active around 100 BC, was a Greek painter.

She was one of six by Pliny in his Naturalis historia 35, 148 mentioned painters who stood in high esteem. It is believed that the name Iaia is not delivered correctly and rather Laia or Maia could have envisaged that the what but for lack of other sources can not be detected.
