Ian Abercrombie

Ian Abercrombie ( born September 11, 1934 in Grays, Essex, † January 26, 2012 in Los Angeles, California ) was a British actor.

Life

Jack began his career as a stage actor during the Second World War. Then he was seen in London, but also in countries such as the Netherlands, Ireland or Scotland. 1951 at the age of seventeen he emigrated to the United States and made ​​his debut in 1955 in the theater production of Stalag 17 of the 48th Street Theatre in New York City.

1957 Abercrombie was drafted by the U.S. Army and transferred to Germany. Back in the U.S., he began his work in the theater next to a career as a film and television actor. He had his first appearance in 1965 in the television series General Hospital. This was followed by roles in the series Armus Burke ( 1965) and police report (1969). He was also seen in Barnaby Jones ( 1973), The Life and Times of Eddie Roberts ( 1980), California communities (1984-1985 ) and Twin Peaks (1990).
