Ian Feuer

Ian Anthony " Tony" Feuer ( born May 20, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada ) is a retired American soccer goalkeeper who was active mainly Belgian and English clubs in his career.

Life

Ian is the son of a show dancer and keyboardist Ron fire, who was born in Las Vegas and grew up there. He has two sisters, Tamara an artist and Debra, ex-wife of Mickey Rourke, is an actress. At the age of eight years played Ian Fire football, first in the field, before he was asked by his coach with eleven years into the goal. At age 16, he was in a soccer clinic in Alabama the tip of Toni Schumacher, that he would have to Europe to promote his skills.

Career

After the fire followed the advice of Schumacher, he signed in 1988 a contract with Belgian club Club Brugge, but could not prevail, and was awarded on 1 August 1991 for two years until May 31, 1993 to R. In 1993 Ian returned to the USA and played for one season in Los Angeles salsa. As the team reached the fourth place, they qualified for the playoffs, where they defeated in the semifinals Vancouver 86ers on penalties and in the final against Colorado Foxes lost and were runners-up.

Fire moved to West Ham United for the 1994-1995 season but was not used because Luděk Mikloško was the first choice. Then West Ham gave his Erstazkeeper to the second division to Peterborough United, on 20 February 1995 after which he graduated from the remaining 19 games for The Posh.

In the 1995-1996 season fire again belonged to the squad of West Ham. In August 1995, he broke the training of the U.S. national soccer team the wrist. After a month, the injury was cured and was back on loan from West Ham in the second division. This time, to Luton Town where he became the first-choice goalkeeper and 14 competitive games completed. He spent the next two seasons only replacement for Kelvin Davis and completed only four games. Then you gave him to Derby County for the 2000-2001 season, where he was deployed twice. After he left Wimbledon and signed on 12 August 2002 at Tranmere Rovers and came only because of an injury of the root goalkeeper Keith Welch for two consecutive games to use. In the meantime ordeal had completed training at Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2002. In response, the leaders of the Wanderers decided to give him a contract. After expiry of the contract, ended his career as a fire Ian football players aged 31 years and went back to the United States.

In March 2010, the Premier League announced that the fire was the longest goalie who has ever played in England.

In 2005, Ian had fire a supporting role as assistant coach in the film comedy football fever - Penalty for Daddy by director Jesse Dylan, starring Will Ferrell and Robert Duvall in the lead roles. In published in 2007 science fiction horror film Aliens vs. Predator 2, was fire for the second time as an actor before the camera. In the film, by brothers Colin and Greg Strause, he embodied a Predator.

In September 2007, he signed a contract as a goalkeeping coach at Los Angeles Galaxy and sparked Tim Hanley from. Fire also heads in St. Louis, the Premier Goalkeeping Academy ( PGKA ).
