Ian Gelder

Ian funds ( born June 3, 1949) is a British actor.

Life

Funds began his career as a stage actor and played in 1969 on the side of Julian Glover and Gareth Hunt in Peter Shaffer's The Royal Hunt of the Sun at the Theatre Royal in Bristol. In 1972 he made ​​his first TV appearance with a guest role in the television series A Case for Scotland Yard. 1973 and 1975 he played the role of Dave Dent in the miniseries The Donati Conspiracy and State of Emergency. Since 1977 he has appeared with the Royal Shakespeare Company and played among others in the Shakespeare productions As You Like It, The Merchant of Venice and The Taming of the Shrew. He also starred in the musical The Sound of Music, and in a production of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, which won the 2007 Olivier Award.
