Ian Rank-Broadley

Ian Rank- Broadley ( born 1952 in Walton-on -Thames ( Surrey ) ) is a British sculptor.

Career

Ian Rank- Broadley studied from 1970-76 in England and later in Italy and France sculpture. After studying at the Slade School of Fine Art, London 1977, the Boise scholarship to study abroad in Italy was awarded to Ian Rank Broadley. In 1994 he was a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors ( Royal Society of British Sculptors ).

His works can be seen among others in the British Museum and the Rijksmuseum. In addition, he has already designed different designs for British coins, such as for various anniversaries throne. Since 1998, the updated portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which was designed by Ian Rank Broadley, is used on coinage in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth countries. Broadley is also the creator of some monuments, such as the Armed Forces Memorial in Staffordshire.
