Ian Thomas (Belgian musician)
Ian Thomas Hoelen ( born April 30, 1997, Belgium ), also known by his stage name Ian Thomas, is a Flemish singer who became famous with songs by Justin Bieber on the video platform YouTube.
Biography
Ian Thomas Cave House is the son of the Flemish actor Frank Hoelen and the Dutch choreographer Brigitte Derks. The Flemish singer Chris Van Tongelen is his stepfather.
His parents released a video on YouTube in which Ian sang a Dutch version of the song " Baby" by Justin Bieber; so he got the nickname " Flemish Justin Bieber ". Thus he was discovered by Universal and contracted.
His first single, " Baby" in 2011 reached number 15 of the Flemish charts in the spring. He also published his own songs and made the album " More Than a Game" out, which brought it into the Top Ten to. With his second album "Diversity " two years later he was able to build on the success, even if he did not reach the chart positions of its predecessor. The single " LaLaLand " was also published in Germany. His first single -top - ten hit in Belgium had Ian Thomas in the fall of that year with the song " Rain".
