Iaroslav MuÅŸinschi

Iaroslav Muşinschi ( born August 8, 1976 in Chişinău ) is a Moldovan long distance runner.

Muşinschi began as a steeplechaser. In this discipline, he competed in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, but resigned in the run- off.

In 2002, he put together with Petko Stefanov in the half-marathon competition of the Podgorica Marathon with 1:02:33 h a course record. The following year he repeated his victory, and in 2004 he won the same place as in 2005 and 2008, on the full distance.

In 2006 he won the Novi Sad - marathon in 2:13:39 h and finished seventh at the Istanbul Marathon. The following year he exhibited in sixth in Istanbul with a 2:11:59 national record. In 2008 he was fourth at the Alexander - the - Great Marathon, finished the marathon in the Olympic Games in Beijing the 41st place and finished third in Istanbul. In 2009, he did better than second in the Ljubljana Marathon his national record to 2:10:15.

2006 and 2008 he won the Antalya Marathon in the half marathon event.

In 2010 he presented the Dusseldorf marathon with 2:08:32 a course record while improved his record Moldovan again by more than one and a half minutes. At the Olympic Games in London, he finished the marathon in 25th place.
