Ibn Tibbon
(Also called Tibboniden ) Ibn Tibbon is a Jewish family who belonged to the Middle Ages, several authors and translators from Arabic into Hebrew:
- Yehuda ibn Tibbon (1120-1190), translator ( epithet Father of the translators), progenitor of the Ibn Tibbon family
- Samuel ibn Tibbon (1160-1230), author and translator, son of Yehuda ibn Tibbon
- Moses ibn Tibbon (~ 1200 - ~ 1283), translator, son of Samuel ibn Tibbon
- Jacob ibn Tibbon (1236-1307), author, translator and astronomer, grandson of Samuel ibn Tibbon
