Ibrahim al-Koni

Ibrahim al -Koni ( * 1948 in Ghadames in Libya) is a Libyan writer.

Life

In the 1970s, al -Koni went to Moscow and studied literature at the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute. In 1993 he moved to Switzerland.

Works

Al- Koni works are mainly centered around the concept of " home" and connect old narrative forms with the modern novel. In The Magician. The epic of the Tuareg he describes the problems between nomads and sedentary people.
