Ica (Region)

The Ica Region (Spanish: Región Ica, Quechua Ika suyu ) is a region in southeastern Peru. Covering an area of ​​21,305 km ² 711 932 people ( 2007). The capital is Ica, which is also the capital of the homonymous province. The region and the capital were named after the river Ica.

Geography
