ICC Intercontinental Cup
The ICC Intercontinental Cup was launched by the International Cricket Council to life, to give the countries immediately below the so-called test cricket nations the opportunity to regularly can first-class a matches and to be able to slowly introduce them to this level.
First -class cricket is normally restricted to the teams in the Full Member Nations, the 5 - day internationals between these countries is called test matches. The games at the ICC Intercontinental Cup have therefore " only " first-class status.
