The parliamentary elections in Iceland in 1946 took place on 30 June 1946. In choosing the 52 members of the Althing were redefined.

The parliamentary elections in 1946, the year of accession of Iceland to the United Nations, brought a victory for the Independence Party under Prime Minister Ólafur Thors. You could combine 39.5 % of the votes.
