IchijÅ Sanetsune
Ichijō Sanetsune (Japanese一条 実 経, unreformed :一条 実 经; * 1223, † August 30, 1284 (Japanese calendar: Kōan 7.7.18 ) was derived from Michiie Kujo, a member of the families for worthy enough regents were to ask for Japanese rulers. His father Michiie Kujo (1193-1252) had four sons with his mother, who came from the Saionji branch of the Fujiwara. His brothers were Norizane Kujo (九 倏 教 実) and Nijo Yoshizane, later progenitor of the Nijo family. Sanetsune itself became the founder of Ichijō line.
