Iconoclasm
Under iconoclasm ( to ancient Greek εἰκών eikon " image, likeness " and κλάειν klaein " break " ) refers to the destruction of sacred images or monuments of their own religion ( iconoclasm ), especially in Christianity; in a broader sense, the iconoclasm or images fear ( iconophobia ) of a culture, religion or institution.
