The Iejima Airport (Japanese伊 江 岛 空港, Iejima - Kuko ) is a small commercial airport of the village of Ie in Japan. The airport is located about 3 kilometers west of the town center on the island of Ie Ie center of Okinawa Prefecture. From here, there are currently (2009) only domestic routes. The Iejima airport is considered by the Japanese legislation as third class airport. The runway of the airport was during the Second World War, part of Ie Shima Air Force Base.
