IESE

The IESE Business School ( Instituto de Estudios Superiores de spanish la Empresa, IESE ) is the business school of the University of Navarra. The IESE maintains a campus in Barcelona and Madrid, as well as a branch in Munich, the Advanced Management Program has been offering since 2005.

University

IESE is the abbreviation founded in Spain in 1958 " Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa " ( " School of Management" ). She brought the first Business School Executive Education, so an academically sound additional training for managers, to Europe.

The international, bilingual MBA program (two year) was founded in 1964 and is approximately 250 students per year from. The School of Management was founded by the Catholic organization Opus Dei, whose influence on the teaching of the subject of controversy. Critics such as the sociologist Alberto Moncada accuse the Catholic lay organization, about the university to anchor fundamentalist positions in top positions in the economy and to recruit well-paid members of the organization. However, professors and program participants are represented from all cultures and denominations today.
