IF Göta

IF Göta is a Swedish sports club was established in 1900 from Karlstad.

History

The club was founded in 1900. The Bandyabteilung won in 1932, 1935 and 1937 respectively to Bandymeistertitel.

The Hockey Division participated in the 1944/45 season once to Division 1, of the then highest Swedish league, in part. In addition, the team entered the 1945 season in the then still in the Cup mode discharged Swedish Championship. The team reached the quarter-finals, in which they defeated with the 12:17 AIK.

Currently, the club has only about an athletics department.
