IFilter

The COM interface IFilter defines an interface, provide for the additional programs the Windows indexing programs and the new Windows Desktop Search metadata about different file formats so that they can be indexed transparent.

The IFilter interface is also used in the full-text search of the Microsoft SQL Server.
